Virgin Islands Mental Health Project
At B7 Globals, we are committed to delivering not only physical infrastructure but also meaningful solutions that strengthen communities across the Caribbean. Our Virgin Islands Mental Health Project combines rapid-deployment modular construction with innovative behavioral health initiatives to address critical mental health needs in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Project Highlights
This comprehensive initiative features a 40,000 sq ft Modular Interim Health Center on St. Croix, constructed with 66 modular units. The project supports both immediate care through prefabricated, disaster-resilient facilities and the development of permanent centers, including the Donna M. Christensen Health Center, Eldra Schulterbrandt Mental Health Facility, and Anna’s Hope Behavioral Health Facility.
Additional components include the REACH-USVI telehealth platform, mobile behavioral health units, eco-therapy community hubs, youth healing networks, and a public awareness campaign “Healthy Minds, Strong Islands.” These solutions are designed for rapid deployment, scalability, and resilience in post-hurricane environments.
Transforming Mental Health Care in the USVI
By integrating modern prefabricated infrastructure with accessible, community-focused programs, this project helps overcome geographic barriers, reduces stigma, and provides timely support for PTSD, anxiety, substance use, and youth mental health challenges. It aims to create lasting impact through integrated care, telehealth innovation, nature-based healing, and school-based programs.
This initiative reflects B7 Globals’ dedication to sustainable development and our belief that resilient infrastructure must support both physical and mental well-being of Caribbean communities.
